In a nutshell, what is included in the design and implemenation?
Each website package includes a design and implementation fee. This covers the following:
- A unique, custom website design
Each church will receive its own professional, high-quality, beautiful, and (most importantly) personal website design. We will work closely with you, taking into account your design preferences to match your ministry's colors and themes as well as your ministry's goals. We do not proceed with your website until you are 100% satisfied with the design.
- Professional implementation of our powerful Content Management System
Once you have approved your website design, we begin to slice the design (cut it up into smaller, workable pieces to include in the website coding). We then code your website template using PHP, HTML, and CSS, following W3C standards for website coding. Then we fuse your template into our powerful Content Management System (CMS), giving you the ultimate website with the power of a CMS and a beautiful custom design.
- A unique, custom website design
So do you custom design each page of our website?
The only page that we "custom design" completely is the frontpage. We take care of the complete layout of everything you would want your site visitors to see at their first glance. For every other page of the site, we design for you a page template just like the frontpage, but with a "content" section, an area that you can populate with whatever content, images, forms, or other features you would like using the CMS's WYSIWYG editor. This gives you the ease and flexibility to add pages to your site at your convenience. There will be specific pages we will layout for you (contact us form [deluxe/premium packages], sermon audio/video [premium package], prayer request page [deluxe/premium package], etc.), but you will be responsible with adding photos, text, tables (if desired), etc. to the different pages of your site.
If you would like for us to give a specific page a custom layout in its content section, we can do that for you for a one time $150 fee.
If you have a specific section of your website you would like to have its own custom design (Youth Group section, Christian School pages, etc.), an additional design and implementation fee would have to be applied. Please contact us with questions regarding additional custom designs.

Can we provide photos for you to work into the design of the site?
In short, yes, we can use a photo like that of your church building or of your Pastor and work it into the design of our site. Simply send them to us before we begin on the design of your site.
From beginning to completion, what's the typical time frame for a website?
Depending on our workload, this timing can very; it can be as quickly as two weeks to as long as 2 months. Much of the time frame depends on the speed the church provides information back to us for the content and different features of the website.
What happens if we decide we want to use another website service in the future?
We do not require any kind of long-term contract with our website services, and your church or ministry can feel free to use whatever service provider they would like in the future. Please understand that NoNonsense Design retains the rights to the design of our Custom-designed websites for two years as well as to the designs of our Template websites indefinitely. You may freely take elsewhere any custom design we have created for you after a two-year time period has elapse.
As far as the Content Management System, NoNonsense Design customers pay monthly to use the CMS we have compiled. If you decide to take your website elsewhere, your rights to the use of our CMS will terminate once monthly payments have stopped.

What is the Monthly Maintenance fee for?
- Use of our Content Management System including training and security upgrades.
- Tech support - 24/7 availability through email or phone.
Do you require contracts?
No contracts are required with our website services. You can choose to pay month to month or annually. If you initially choose to pay annually but decide to switch website service providers, you will be given a pro-rated refund based on the month-to-month rates.
Can we avoid monthly fees by finding our own website host?
Web hosting is included free in each of our packages. So in short, no.
The monthly charge covers the use of the CMS we have compiled, unlimited tech support for your site, and access to training videos and live training whenever it is needed.
Are we able to change website packages in the future?
Yes, simple send us an email and we can adjust the package to meet your church's changing needs.
Do you offer any type of refund?
Once the design of your website is completed and it has been implemented into the Content Management System, we are unable to provide any refunds for these services (the Design and Implementation Fee).
If you originally chose to pay the Maintenance Fee annually and decide to leave for whatever reason, we will refund the unused portion of the fee based on the Monthly fee rate.
Domains and Hosting
If we already have a domain name, can we use it on the new site?
Yes! Once the website is complete, we will provide the nameservers for your to enter into your domain registrar's account so that your domain name will point to the new website.
What if we don't currently have a domain name?
If your ministry currently does not own its own domain name, we would be more than happy to help you register one. We encourage churches to do this themselves, as a domain name should always be under the control of the ministry itself, and not any outside service provider.
Do we have to use your hosting?

Do the packages include email accounts?
Each package comes with unlimited emails accounts. Since the email storage is included in the total amount of storage space for each account, we recommend using these accounts only for the staff of your ministry.
Do you offer Webmail?
Yes, web mail is included in all website packages. You can access your web mail by browsing to "yourwebsiteaddress.com/webmail".
Can we use our own email client (Outlook, Mac Mail app, etc)?
Yes, we can provide details on how to set up your email client to receive messages. This includes receiving email on your phone!
What if we already have email accounts through our old web host?
In order to maintain uninterrupted service to those email accounts, we will need a list of all email accounts and passwords to set them up on the new server before the website can go live. Once we point your current domain to the new server, the emails will be directed to the new email accounts. There is a possibility that each staff member may need to make minor changes in the settings of their email clients, but this is not always the case.
Website Manager
Do you offer training for the CMS?
Yes, we will sit down with one person once the site is finished and go over the ins and outs of the CMS. Each ministry will need to designate one member for this purpose who can then be responsible for training other members on the different aspects of the Content Management system.
Are we able to add our own images to the site?
If you are able to add an image to a simple MS Word document, then the answer is "Yes!" It is that easy; simply click on a button on the toolbar of the content management system, and you will be prompted to upload the image to the server and then given the ability to adjust different options like size and text-wrap.
Can we have multiple accounts for website managers?
Yes! You have the ability to create unique login accounts for whoever you would like to have access to the control panel of the CMS.
Can the design of the website be refreshed in the future without reentering all the content?
One of the best features of any CMS is that the content is stored in a database and can be inserted into any new design at any time. We would be able to update the look of your website at any time for around half the cost of the normal Design and Implementation fee.
